One of only a few Canadian electricity generating companies whose facilities have received Federal Government EcoLogo certification, Energy Ottawa is committed to developing innovative sources of green power generation—and marketing the green power we produce directly to environmentally-conscious private and public sector customers.

We operate two newly refurbished hydroelectric generating stations on the Ottawa River, and are exploring the rehabilitation and operation of other small hydroelectric generating operations. We are also exploring development of a number of alternative sources of power generation to broaden our contribution to the supply.
